The Pacific Festival @ Oak Canyon Ranch in Irvine
The Pacific Fest was the first of many festivals I shot in August. What an exhausting day.

BB King @ the Pacific Amphitheater at OC Fairgrounds
Shooting BB King was an interesting experience because the stage at the fairgrounds amphitheater is really low and I was literally 2 feet away from him with him making eye contact. Really wish they had let me stay for the concert. Would have been amazing to see his whole set.

Aug 17th
Adele @ the Palladium
Wanda Jackson opened the show but unfortunately I was shooting from the back of the venue and the light was really dim and I wasn't able to get anything good of her. What a shame that the amazing Wanda Jackson was playing and they put no light on her and treated her like she was some crappy opener. I thought it was rude. But, Adele's performance was incredible. She's almost better in person than her album. Plus she's quite funny.

Aug 20th
Long Beach Funk Fest
The second festival of the month. I had high hopes for the Funk Fest and was excited to shoot it, that is until I got there. Sadly I have to say I was bored to tears. The acts played waaaay too long and it had the pace of a snail. Not the energy I was expecting from a Funk Fest. Hope they up their game next year and lessen the set times.

BuskerFest took place in Downtown Long Beach
Several bands competed unplugged in hopes of winning a $2,500 vinyl pressing deal. The band that received the most "tokens" from the crowd was Wild Pack of Canaries.
