Weird Al Yankovic @ the City National Grove of Anaheim
I have to say that I pitch to shoot Weird Al for nostagia and because I thought it would be funny, but it was actually really fun. This might also be because it was one of the few shows I got to bring a friend with me. Thanks Harmony Gerber for making it such a fun night!

Black Lips with Bleached @ the Galaxy Theater (now the Observatory)
I've seen and photographed the Black Lips on several different occasions, mostly at festival I guess, and I've heard lots of talk of the crazy antics they're known to do on stage, but this was the first night that I feel I really got the whole show. Everything from making out with 50 or so teenage girls who jumped on stage, to making out with each other, to spitting everywhere and then some. Ha, thank god I was able to take refuge sitting on the side front of the stage to shoot from. That seat all coincidently got me a front row seat to the frenzy of horny teens one of whom slipped a condom with her # on it into the back of one of their pockets. (haha)

Pixies @ the Music Box
Had the great pleasure of seeing and shooting the Pixies! This was definitely one of the top 5 shows I've ever seen. It was made even better by the fact that this particular show was a secret show just for fans and felt a little more casual, like they were there just for all of us. Everyone in there was just ecstatic!
